Are we infinite beings from the cosmos experiencing a life of flesh and blood?
Or are we barely evolved apes reaching for the stars?
How many of us can look in the mirror, without clothes, without makeup, without striking a pose... and truly love, deep in our heart, everything we see?
How many of us truly experience the full potential of sensation and pleasure that our bodies can give us?
How do we treat our animals? Like a workhorse? Like a lamb to the slaughter? Like a majestic but deadly tiger? Like a beloved pet?
How many of us numb and suppress our emotions because they are perceived as wrong, weak, harmful, or just too painful to face?
How many of us truly experience the fullest joy and passion for life?
Grief gives us clarity, anger gives us courage, and joy gives us purpose, if we learn how to run those energies safely, and connected with love.
One of the most shamed areas of our natures, and yet it underpins all of life. What if the energy of raw aliveness could course through our veins and infuse every area of our lives, regardless of our relationship situation?
In a 'civilised' world - this is the last refuge of our wild and untameable natures. An energy that refuses to bend to our will, and yet is the source of infinite gifts.
As within, so without. Nothing changes if no one changes.
Our individual disconnect from these essential aspects of our nature is played out on a global scale by humanity's disconnect from nature, climate change, and the rise of mental illness like depression and addiction.
We need to stop searching outside of ourselves to feel loved, to feel good enough, to know what is right, and how we should act.
